About the job
- At least 8 years of product experience, including leading a product or a team.
- Experience running delivery, including timelines, releases, and bug triage.
- Clear writing and experience building something from zero at a startup.
- Own the product roadmap, decide what to build and why, and write specifications that engineering can act on.
- Run product delivery by setting timelines and ensuring commitments ship.
- Grow the marketplace by retaining Individuals, helping Professionals earn, and helping Subscribers find what they want.
- Lead product design and decide how the product looks and works and what makes the cut.
- Manage client requests, deciding what enters the roadmap and communicating timelines to clients.
- Own product quality by maintaining a ranked bug list and prioritizing fixes.
- Own compliance with privacy, security, and audit rules required by enterprise and government clients.
- Measure release outcomes and hire the product team as the company grows.
- Depth in at least one of the following: B2C products or marketplaces used daily; AI features shipped to real people; technical depth in APIs, data models, latency, and cost; B2B or enterprise products and client requests; or regulated environments such as HIPAA, FedRAMP, or DoD Impact Levels.
