About the job
- Advanced SQL proficiency, including query optimization, tuning, and complex data models.
- Experience administering, developing, and optimizing Snowflake.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Dataiku, Talend, dbt, Informatica, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Good understanding of cloud architectures such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of data security and governance.
- A five-year higher education qualification (Bac+5) in computer science, data engineering, or information systems.
- At least three to five years of confirmed experience as an SQL expert and practical Snowflake experience in a production context.
- Strong database modeling and optimization skills.
- Technical English proficiency, spoken and written.
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and analytics.
- Administer and maintain the Snowflake platform, including warehouse management and cost and performance optimization.
- Integrate and transform data from multiple sources using ETL/ELT.
- Collaborate with business and application teams to define data needs and propose appropriate solutions.
- Ensure data quality, security, and governance.
- Document processes and support teams in using Snowflake effectively.
- Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or Looker.
