Requirements
  • Candidates must have a Master of Science in Aviation, Aerospace, Safety, or a closely related field, with at least 18 credits of PhD progress in a related discipline.
Responsibilities
  • Teach four sections in the Spring 2027 semester.
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in aviation safety and safety science, which may include aircraft accident investigation, structural and mechanical failures in aircraft accident investigation, safety training and leadership, research methods, or occupational safety.
  • Deliver high-quality instruction, demonstrate teaching excellence, and engage in activities to enrich the academic experience and advance the field of aviation safety.
Desired Qualifications
  • An earned PhD in the discipline or a closely related field is preferred.
  • Opportunities for research may be available.
