The USACE NWO mission is to deliver vital engineering solutions, in collaboration with partners, to secure the nation, energize the economy, and reduce disaster risks by focusing on a diverse array of missions, including flood risk management, navigation, hydropower, environmental restoration, and regulatory oversight.

Seeking Contractor Quality Control Supervisor (CQCS) candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as USACE. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) (Contractor Quality Control Supervisor (CQCS)) in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Department of Defense (DoD - USACE) | U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division, Omaha District (USACE NWO) Area of Responsibility (AOR) Generally Located In CONUS - Ten (10) States: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming and across the Mid West Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Contractor Quality Control Supervisor (CQCS) | Environmental Management [USACE003008]

Serve as a member of The Engagement Team as "Key Management Personnel" and work to ensure project compliance with quality standards, conduct inspections, manage quality control documentation. Serve as Contractor Quality Control Supervisor (CQCS) [(Key Management Personnel] and one (1) individual designate individual who is trained within its organization to be responsible for overall management of Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Program and have the authority to act in all Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Matters. The Contractor Quality Control Supervisor (CQCS) will be responsible for ensuring contract CQC requirements are met.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For Contractor Quality Control Supervisor (CQCS) | Environmental Management [USACE003008] (USACE003008) Candidates:

Knowledge of quality control processes and standards in environmental remediation. The individual proposed as The Contractor Quality Control Supervisor (CQCS) shall have experience with QA/QC in areas specific to ERS sites. These areas should include remedial investigations, remedial design, and remedial actions. On-site Contractor Quality Control (CQC) personnel requirements will be defined in the project specific Task Order Request for Proposal (RFP).

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

The Contractor Quality Control Supervisor (CQCS) shall have a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as engineering, chemistry, construction management, or related field and a minimum of three (3) years of working experience in quality control in chemical/hazardous waste investigations and remediation.

5+ years in quality control, familiarity with environmental regulations. | Bachelor's in Environmental Science or related field.

Skills Required

Skills Required: Attention to detail, analytical thinking, quality control techniques. | Professional Licensure: Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent.

Competencies Required

Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program). Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

Permits/Licenses: Team ProSidian shall obtain permits and licenses necessary to conduct the work required by this contract, including, but not limited to, environmental permits, building permits, discharge permits, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) or state licenses for radiation activities, and Department of Transportation (DOT) permits for transport of Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) and Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) on public highways. Team ProSidian shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, including Technical Bulletin TB 700-2, “Department Of Defense Ammunition And Explosives Hazard Classification Procedures,” when transporting MEC. Rights of entry on and off Government property may be required.
