  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience in valve turning preferred
  • Water distribution knowledge preferred
  • DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain
  • Ability to understand, read, and write English
  • Ability to perform basic math skills
  • Availability to work overtime, any shift, weekends, and holidays if needed
  • Verbal/written communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
  • Understand hydrant operations & maintenance
  • Perform water valve maintenance, valve assessment, and rehabilitation
  • Operate manual and electric turners for valves and hydrants
  • Understand water system dynamics
  • Collect data on GPS device
  • Track daily production and timekeeping of the crew
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, and customers
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Ensure crew follow all procedures
  • Participate in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
