Job Description

1. Cleaning and Sanitizing:
   • Dusting and Vacuuming: Dust surfaces, vacuum carpets, and clean floors.
   • Bed Making: Change bed linens, make beds, and ensure they are neatly arranged.
   • Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, showers, and tubs; replenish toiletries and towels.
   • Surface Cleaning: Wipe down furniture, mirrors, and other surfaces.
2. Restocking Supplies:
   • Toiletries: Replenish items such as soap, shampoo, and toilet paper.
   • Bedding and Towels: Ensure adequate supply of clean linens and towels.
3. Room Maintenance:
   • Report Issues: Identify and report any maintenance issues or damages in the room to the supervisor or maintenance department.
   • Lost and Found: Handle any items left behind by guests according to the hotel's lost and found procedures.
4. Guest Interaction:
   • Respect Privacy: Follow guest privacy policies and request permission before entering rooms.
   • Respond to Requests: Address special requests or needs of guests, such as additional amenities or room adjustments.
5. Safety and Security:
   • Follow Protocols: Adhere to health and safety standards, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
   • Secure Rooms: Ensure that rooms are locked and secure after cleaning.
6. Inventory Management:
   • Track Supplies: Monitor and manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and report when stock is low.
7. Team Collaboration:
   • Coordinate with Staff: Work closely with other housekeeping staff and management to ensure smooth operations and high standards of cleanliness.
8. Administrative Tasks:
   • Record Keeping: Complete checklists and log any issues or special requests as required by the hotel’s procedures.
