Currently, we offer a Shopify app that demonstrates our capabilities, with plans to expand across various e-commerce platforms and online marketplace.

The Role

We’re seeking a skilled Senior Backend Developer with 5+ years of industry experience who has successfully shipped SaaS products. In this role, you will architect and implement backend services that power our multi-agent system for e-commerce automation. You’ll work closely with our AI/ML teams to translate AI-driven concepts into scalable, production-ready applications, ensuring robust integrations with various e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and online marketplace (e.g., Amazon, eBay). Your ability to deliver high-performing, secure, and maintainable systems will directly influence our platform’s success.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services for our AI-driven multi-agent platform.
• Integrate with third-party e-commerce (Shopify, WooCommerce) and online marketplace (e.g., Amazon, eBay) to ensure seamless data flow and user experiences.
• Collaborate with AI/ML researchers to transform complex AI workflows into production-ready APIs and services.
• Contribute to microservices architecture by developing modular, reusable services that align with best practices in backend engineering.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to ensure reliable and efficient deployment of new features.
• Optimize performance by monitoring key metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements at both the code and infrastructure layers.
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of high-quality code and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with product managers to ensure technical implementations align with business objectives and customer needs.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, AI integrations, and cloud services to continuously improve our backend systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack software development.
• Proven track record of shipping SaaS products with high availability and scalability.
• Proficiency in Python (preferred) or other modern backend languages (e.g., Node.js, Go).
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, with familiarity in microservices and serverless architectures.
• Solid cloud experience, preferably on AWS (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, RDS, S3, etc.).
• Database expertise in SQL and NoSQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• DevOps and CI/CD exposure (Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Terraform, or similar).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with LLMs and Agentic systems.
• Experience API integrations with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce and online marketplace (e.g., Amazon, eBay)
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
• Experience with FastAPI or Flask for backend services.
• Knowledge of additional cloud services (e.g., GCP, Azure).
• AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect).
• Front-end exposure to React or other modern frameworks.
• Experience with mobile app development (React Native).
