About the job

Requirements
  • You must have run go-to-market engineering for a sales team of 15 or more and built a system around a customer relationship management (CRM) platform or rebuilt a CRM.
  • You must have expert-level coding experience, using Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools weekly, with shipped work used by colleagues at your previous company.
  • You must be able to read and test code and keep secrets and client data out of prompts and repositories.
  • You must be able to connect tools through application programming interfaces (APIs) and webhooks without waiting on engineering.
  • You must be willing to prune workflows by checking whether an existing workflow should be removed before adding another.
  • You must be able to write process documentation a go-to-market team can follow on first read.
  • You must treat sales representatives as users by sitting in on calls, observing their work, and building for their observed needs.
Responsibilities
  • Audit every service unit's funnel from ad click to signed retainer across the technology stack, and deliver a map of what runs, what is broken, what lacks an owner, and a ranked list of actions during the first month.
  • Audit and improve the attribution model with the AI engineer so the team can trace signed retainers to contributing ads, articles, or referrals.
  • Standardize statuses, pipelines, custom fields, and smart views across service units, and retire workflows without owners.
  • Maintain the communication setup, including representative domains, mailbox authentication, SMS, dialers, and deliverability.
  • Design lead routing and speed-to-lead across units, including assignment, response timing, and handling of unclaimed leads.
  • Build behavior-triggered follow-up plays, such as texting after an email bounce and creating a rescue task with history attached after a missed consultation.
  • Build AI agents for representative workflows, including pre-call briefs from lead communications, writing call data back to the CRM, drafting follow-ups for representative approval, and overnight CRM hygiene.
  • Own a ranked backlog of agents, workflows, and internal tools across units; scope builds, ship prototypes, measure them, and decide whether to retain or remove them.
  • Set success metrics before building, then own post-launch evaluation, monitoring, cost per run, and fallbacks for model or API failures.
  • Set safeguards for a law firm, including using lawyer-approved copy for client-facing material, preventing automation from giving legal advice, and keeping client data in approved systems with appropriate access.
  • When a new service unit opens, establish its pipeline, routing, and reporting from a reusable template.
  • Own the revenue system across service units, from initial form submission through signed retainer and referrals.
Desired Qualifications
  • CRM administration experience.
  • Microsoft 365 automation experience, including Power Automate, Bookings, or Exchange.
  • Experience in legal, financial services, or another regulated industry.

About the company

CanadaVisa provides information, tools, and resources about Canadian immigration and citizenship and hosts the largest discussion forum in the space. Its online platform grew from a pioneering launch in 1994 by attorney David Cohen, expanding into a broad hub of updated guidance and community discussion, backed by Cohen Immigration Law, a full-service immigration and citizenship law firm. The product works by offering up-to-date articles, checklists, and calculators, plus a community forum where users share experiences and ask questions; the law firm also assists clients directly with complex filings and legal advice. The company differentiates itself through its long-standing, online-first presence, the scale of its forum community, and its integration with a specialized immigration law practice. The goal is to help people understand and navigate the Canadian immigration and citizenship process efficiently and with access to professional legal support when needed.

Is The U.S. Still Safe? Canada Ponders Safe Third Country Agreement

Is the U.S. a safe third country for refugees? Some Canadians are raising this question in federal. More court. gettyWhen Canada signed the Safe Third Country Agreement (STCA) with the United States in 2004, it was widely viewed as a reasonable policy. The agreement, still in force today, requires refugee claimants to seek asylum in the first “safe” country they arrive in—typically the United States. Because of this agreement, most individuals arriving at the Canadian border from the U.S., whether at border crossings or through irregular crossings such as at Roxham Road, are ineligible to make a refugee claim in Canada unless they meet narrow exceptions. Is America Safe Under The STCA?But the assumption of American “safety” is now under renewed scrutiny

Digital Nomad Visas Surge Alongside Demand For Faster Cross-Border Payments

Digital nomads, a new breed of professionals, have emerged in recent years, reshaping the traditional employment landscape. These individuals have embraced a lifestyle that combines work with travel, leveraging technology to work remotely from anywhere in the world. As this concept gains momentum, countries worldwide, including Estonia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Tanzania, are recognizing the potential economic, tourism and innovation benefits and are introducing special visas or residency programs tailored to attract remote workers. Japan is the latest to join this growing trend of countries vying for global workers. Last month, the country’s Immigration Services Agency (ISA) announced the launch of a digital nomad visa by the end of March, The Japan Times reported, enabling nationals of nearly 50 countries to live and work in the country for up to six months at a time
