Zuar and CData partner to accelerate ai-ready data experiences.

Zuar and CData partner to accelerate ai-ready data experiences. Partnership expands Zuar's native connectivity by 10x, empowering organizations to build AI Centers of Excellence and deliver transformative data experiences. Zuar, the Data Experience Platform, today announced a strategic partnership with CData, dramatically expanding the platform's native connectivity and strengthening its vision for helping organizations build AI Centers of Excellence. By integrating CData's enterprise connectivity platform, Zuar now provides access to hundreds of enterprise applications, cloud platforms, databases, APIs, and SaaS systems through a unified integration framework - expanding its native connectivity by more than tenfold. As organizations increasingly look to operationalize artificial intelligence, success depends on more than powerful models. It requires trusted, governed access to enterprise data combined with intuitive experiences that allow people to interact with that data naturally. Together, CData and Zuar provide both the AI data layer and the AI experience layer - helping organizations transform disconnected information into trusted, actionable intelligence. "AI has fundamentally changed how organizations think about analytics," said Whitney Myers, CEO of Zuar. "Businesses no longer want dashboards alone; they want intelligent experiences that allow employees, customers, and partners to ask questions, explore data conversationally, and make better decisions. Our partnership with CData gives organizations access to hundreds of enterprise data sources while enabling Zuar to deliver secure, governed, AI-powered experiences on top of that foundation." The partnership advances Zuar's mission of helping organizations establish AI Centers of Excellence by combining data automation, semantic modeling, embedded analytics, and conversational AI into a single platform built around trusted enterprise data. Organizations can now: - Connect to hundreds of enterprise systems through a unified integration framework. - Create AI-ready data foundations with trusted governance and semantic context. - Reduce the complexity and cost of integrating new data sources. - Deliver secure, embedded, and white-labeled analytics experiences to customers, employees, and partners. - Enable conversational analytics and AI-powered applications built on trusted enterprise information. Rather than simply centralizing data, the combined platform enables organizations to create transformative data experiences - bringing insights directly into the workflows where decisions are made and empowering stakeholders to interact with enterprise data through natural language, intelligent applications, and embedded analytics. "Production AI doesn't fail at the model layer anymore, it usually fails at the data layer," said Amit Naik, CData Vice President of AI Architecture. "By embedding CData's connectivity directly into the Zuar platform, Zuar gives its customers live, governed access to hundreds of enterprise systems without having to build and maintain that connectivity themselves. That's the infrastructure that makes AI features work reliably in a customer's environment, not just in a demo." The enhanced connectivity capabilities are available immediately as part of the Zuar Data Experience Platform and support organizations ranging from growing businesses to global enterprises seeking to modernize analytics, embedded reporting, and AI initiatives.

CData Software named to Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of America's fastest-growing private companies.

CData Software named to Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of America's fastest-growing private companies. August 11, 2026 Third consecutive Inc. 5000 ranking reflects enterprise demand for governed control over how AI reaches business data. CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - CData Software, the data layer for AI, today announced it has been ranked No. 2,565 on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list, the annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. The list is the most prestigious ranking of the nation's most successful independent and entrepreneurial businesses, recognizing companies that have achieved remarkable growth while driving innovation, creating jobs, and shaping the future of the economy. Past honorees include companies such as Microsoft, Meta, Chobani, Oracle, and Patagonia. "Three consecutive years on this list tracks with a change in what enterprises ask us for," said Amit Sharma, Founder and CEO of CData. "The question used to be whether you could reach the data. Now it's whether every AI-to-data interaction is governed, logged, and correct. That's the layer we've been building toward, and it's where enterprise AI succeeds or stalls." This year's Inc. 5000 recognizes a new class of companies redefining what growth looks like. From AI and advanced manufacturing to healthcare, consumer products, and professional services, these businesses are expanding their impact, creating jobs and proving that entrepreneurial ambition continues to fuel the U.S. economy. Among the 5,000 companies on the list, the median three-year revenue growth rate was 130%, and those companies have collectively added more than 627,208 jobs to the U.S. economy over the past three years. CData's ranking tracks a change in what enterprises need from their data layer. Most AI initiatives stall before production, not because the AI can't do the work, but because nothing governs what it's allowed to reach. CData Connect AI, the company's managed Model Context Protocol (MCP) platform, operates as the control plane between AI systems and hundreds of business systems: live access, the business context that makes answers correct, and policy enforcement on every request. This marks CData's third consecutive year on the Inc. 5000, following recognition in the 2025 Gartner(R) Magic Quadrant(TM) for Data Integration and Forbes' 2026 list of America's Best Startup Employers. For the full Inc. 5000 list, honoree company profiles, and a searchable database by industry and location, please visit: www.inc.com/inc5000. "Every company on the Inc. 5000 has a story of perseverance, smart decision making, and a refusal to sit still," says Mike Hofman, editor-in-chief of Inc. "Their growth reflects more than strong financial performance-it reflects creativity, resilience, and the customer focus required to build companies that make a lasting impact. We congratulate all honorees on this significant achievement." Companies on the 2026 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2022 to 2025. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2022. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent - not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies - as of December 31, 2025. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2022 is $100,000; the minimum for 2025 is $2 million. CData launches HIPAA-compliant AI data layer for healthcare organisations

CData Software has extended its Connect AI platform to support HIPAA-regulated healthcare environments. The data connectivity provider announced that healthcare organisations can now use Connect AI to securely connect AI applications and agents to protected health information without moving data or compromising compliance controls. The platform addresses a key challenge in healthcare AI deployment: accessing sensitive patient data whilst maintaining HIPAA security requirements. Connect AI provides secure, credentialed access to live healthcare data, comprehensive audit logging, identity-aware access controls, and support for Business Associate Agreements. The solution keeps data in place rather than requiring organisations to move healthcare information into separate AI platforms. CData already serves regulated organisations including pharmaceutical company GSK. Connect AI is available immediately for eligible healthcare providers, payers, life sciences organisations, and healthcare technology companies.
