What believers are saying

  • STC has a maintenance base alongside construction: it reports 43 nationwide building automation service contracts.
  • STC's US Engineer II route accepts hands-on experience: two years in controls infrastructure substitutes for a relevant bachelor's degree.
  • STC's US senior project manager in building controls gets paid parental leave after one year of employment.

What critics are saying

  • STC's US remote senior building automation project managers still face travel: the posting specifies up to 25%.
  • STC's lead electrical power monitoring technician must live in the Virginia/Washington, D.C., area, with daily local travel.
  • STC's Texas or Buffalo superintendents need availability for nights, weekends and extended hours during critical construction and cutover windows.

What makes Smart Tech Contracting unique

  • Smart Tech Contracting (STC) reports more than two gigawatts of installed data center control capacity.
  • STC avoids a single controls vendor: its monitoring dashboards and data ingestion are platform-neutral.
  • STC's field leadership works at campus scale: superintendent projects span 40 to 200 megawatts.
