Production Assistant
About the job
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role is required.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good analytical skills and ability to prioritize among multiple tasks.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management.
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 25–30 pounds.
- Proficiency with computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, including order placement, production scheduling, meeting cancellation dates, importing, and quality assurance.
- Work with the quality control team to inspect merchandise upon receipt and identify imperfections or incorrect designs.
- Ensure complete technical information for new items, which may include testing, taking images, weighing and measuring items, and entering data into software.
- Manage production flow using email and spreadsheets.
- Resolve production and development issues with agents and designers, including schedule, pricing, quality, packaging, and aesthetic issues.
- Communicate with overseas offices, vendors, and factories.
- Communicate daily with overseas offices and vendors to track development and production statuses.
- Perform quality control and track orders from pre-production through samples and final production.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bilingual ability in Mandarin.
