Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership, such as Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Manager, or Value Stream Leadership roles.
  • A proven track record of improving key performance indicators, including cycle time reduction, first-pass yield improvements, defects per unit reductions, or cost-saving initiatives.
  • Proven ability to develop, coach, and manage cross-functional teams while ensuring accountability and engagement.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with experience using key performance indicators, root cause analysis, and Lean tools to drive decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience in Lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, waste elimination, and production workflow optimization.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with shop floor teams, peers, and senior leadership to ensure organizational alignment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning or manufacturing resource planning systems; experience with INFOR/Syteline is a plus.
  • Experience with Tableau and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, for reporting and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated career ambition with a track record of growth and increasing responsibility.
Responsibilities
  • Own, monitor, and improve key performance indicators within the value stream, including on-time delivery, first-pass yield, defects per unit, safety incidents, and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee daily production activities to ensure safe and efficient execution aligned with production schedules, quality standards, and operational goals.
  • Manage and develop a cross-functional team including production, quality, materials, and maintenance; set expectations, provide coaching, and ensure accountability.
  • Partner with Production Planning and Materials teams to align demand with capacity, balance workflow, optimize material usage, and deploy labor efficiently.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for operational issues using Pareto analysis, A3 problem-solving, and process mapping.
  • Champion Lean manufacturing principles by eliminating waste and driving efficiency through 5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, and Value Stream Mapping initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to identify and resolve design, process, and equipment issues affecting production.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements while promoting zero injuries and high-quality production.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
Desired Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
  • Project Management Professional certification.
  • APICS, Certified in Production and Inventory Management, or another supply chain-related certification.
