Requirements
  • A DEC in nursing is required.
  • Membership in the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du QuĂ©bec (OIIQ) is required.
  • Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification is required.
  • At least one year of demonstrated experience in the healthcare network is required.
  • The candidate must be able to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Advanced proficiency in French is required.
  • The candidate must be available to work flexible schedules.
Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care adapted to the specific needs of patients at home.
  • Assess and monitor patients’ health in collaboration with the medical team.
  • Administer medications and provide necessary treatments.
  • Follow up on and provide wound and dressing care.
  • Inform patients and their families about health matters.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Monitor, assess, document, and record symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
