Requirements
  • The instructor must possess a New York State license to practice physical therapy.
  • The instructor must be a professional in good standing.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the primary course instructor to design the class schedule, lectures, activities, assignments, and grading rubrics in accordance with course objectives and syllabus requirements.
  • Collaborate with the primary instructor to create examinations that evaluate student knowledge.
  • Prepare current and evidence-based teaching materials for the course.
  • Evaluate students and provide appropriate feedback.
  • Be available by email and appointment to meet with students.
  • Maintain currency and proficiency in instructional methods relevant to the teaching area, including technological integration, active learning strategies, and adult learning concepts.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience in a pediatric setting.
  • PCS certification or candidacy for certification.
  • Residency training or fellowship in pediatric physical therapy.
