Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care to a defined panel of concierge medicine patients.
  • Develop long-term, trusted relationships with patients through highly personalized and coordinated care.
  • Provide comprehensive annual physical examinations, preventive health assessments, chronic disease management, and acute care.
  • Maintain enhanced accessibility and responsiveness consistent with the expectations of a concierge medicine model.
  • Coordinate specialty consultations, diagnostic testing, procedures, and other services across the Houston Methodist system.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination for each patient's overall health care needs.
  • Develop individualized wellness and prevention strategies based on each patient's health history, risk factors, lifestyle, and goals.
  • Deliver a personalized patient experience characterized by convenience, communication, discretion, and individualized service.
  • Provide comprehensive Executive Health evaluations for business leaders, executives, and other program participants.
  • Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, preventive screenings, and individualized health risk assessments.
  • Review diagnostic and laboratory findings and develop clear, actionable recommendations for each participant.
  • Coordinate same-day or expedited diagnostic testing and specialty consultations when clinically appropriate.
  • Provide a comprehensive summary of findings and recommendations following each Executive Health evaluation.
  • Develop ongoing relationships with executives who may benefit from continued care through the Concierge Medicine program.
  • Partner with Houston Methodist leadership to enhance the Executive Health experience and expand the program's reach within The Woodlands and surrounding communities.
  • Create a personalized and seamless experience for every patient.
  • Provide proactive communication regarding results and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with nurses, coordinators, specialists, and hospital leadership.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
  • Build relationships with patients, families, executives, community leaders, and referring physicians.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the Concierge Medicine and Executive Health experience.
  • Partner with hospital and physician leadership to develop the long-term strategy for the program.
  • Build awareness of Executive Health services among employers and business leaders throughout The Woodlands and North Houston.
  • Support appropriate growth of the concierge patient panel.
  • Develop relationships with Houston Methodist specialists to provide streamlined access and coordinated care.
  • Identify new services and innovations that enhance preventive health, longevity, wellness, and executive medicine.
  • Serve as a physician ambassador for Houston Methodist within the community.

This also is the 34th year in a row that Houston Methodist Hospital was ranked in at least one specialty. "This recognition reflects the remarkable dedication of our physicians and employees and their tireless focus on delivering unparalleled care to our patients," said Marc L. Boom, M.D., president and CEO of Houston Methodist. "While we are honored by this recognition, its true significance lies in what it represents - an unwavering commitment to putting patients first." Houston Methodist Hospital is ranked in 11 specialties - 10 nationally and one regionally (rehab), including six specialties nationally ranked in the top 20. HOUSTON - Houston Methodist Hospital has once again been named the No. 1 hospital in Texas, marking the 15th consecutive year it has earned the top statewide ranking from U.S. News & World Report. The hospital also secured a spot on the publication's prestigious Honor Roll for the 10th time, recognizing it among the nation's top-performing hospitals. This year's rankings reviewed 4,494 hospitals nationwide. Houston Methodist was ranked in 11 specialties, including 10 nationally and one regionally. Six specialties placed in the nation's top 20, while three earned top-10 rankings.
