About the Company

Swift

Global secure financial messaging network

SWIFT is a member-owned cooperative that provides a secure, standardized messaging network for international finance. Banks use the SWIFTNet platform to exchange standardized financial messages—moving transaction information, not funds—across a global network of thousands of institutions in 200+ countries. It differentiates itself by being a universal, member-driven messaging standard rather than a bank or payment processor, and it continually expands its platforms (including blockchain-ledgers and instant payments) to support global finance. Its goal is to enable fast, reliable, and automated exchange of financial information worldwide.
