Responsibilities
  • Serve as the department’s primary liaison to Facilities Management, coordinating maintenance, repairs, furniture, cleaning, and space needs across Campus Ministry offices and chapels; manage Campus Ministry vehicles, carts, and physical assets; and oversee door and space access for staff and student ministers.
  • Serve as the department’s liaison to Information Technology Services, coordinating replacement and maintenance of computers and technology assets, arranging access and setup for new staff and installations, and managing large-format and promotional printing for the department.
  • Support the Director in monitoring the department budget and preparing financial reporting in Workday, reviewing transactions for proper coding to the correct program work tags, and flagging and helping to correct miscoded expenses. The Director is the primary budget manager; this position supports accuracy, timeliness, and process.
  • Process and support expense reports, reimbursements, invoicing, and deposits, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including accounts, subscriptions, and services; order and maintain supplies; and monitor and route the general Campus Ministry email account.
  • Ensure Campus Ministry offices and common spaces are clean, bright, well stocked, and welcoming, maintaining intentional first impressions at the front office so students, family members, and guests feel seen and valued.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise front-desk student workers; set and uphold service standards for hospitality, responsiveness, and professionalism; and accompany and develop them as frontline representatives of Campus Ministry’s welcome.
  • Coordinate Campus Ministry’s presence at university-wide events, including orientation, student involvement and organization fairs, Admitted Lions Day, and Welcome Week; coordinate department-wide activities and gatherings, including support for Cave community programming in the evenings.
  • Book and set up spaces, coordinate catering and vendors, and manage logistics for department meetings and events.
  • Participate as an active member of the Campus Ministry team, contribute to the welcoming and mission-centered culture of the department, serve on University committees as assigned, and perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Campus Ministry.
  • Collaborate across the team and University, fostering open dialogue, respect for individual differences, and cooperation across organizational boundaries.
  • Build and sustain a climate of trust and accountability, communicate clearly, share information appropriately, and follow through on commitments.
  • Provide consistent, high-quality service to students, staff, faculty, and visitors by anticipating needs, responding promptly, and working to resolve issues before they escalate.

  • Represent Campus Ministry with warmth, discretion, and professionalism, modeling the hospitality and standards of behavior expected of the whole team.
