  • Successfully completed two years of work or training in ultrasound resulting in certification in sonography.
  • Basic Life Support certificate.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification in Abdomen and OB-GYN with at least two years of scanning experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform sonographic studies on patients of a wide range of ages and abilities.
  • Ability to maintain professional skills while working with critically ill or severely injured patients.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, physical strength to transport patients and equipment, and visual acuity.
  • Ability to work varied day shifts and participate in a rotational call schedule covering nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work with patients who have a wide range of illnesses and conditions.
Responsibilities
  • Create high-quality ultrasound images with precision and expertise.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and radiologists during ultrasound-guided procedures.
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision.
Desired Qualifications
  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited sonography program.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Registered Vascular Technologist, and Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer credentials with five years of scanning experience.
