Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Experience in all areas of Commercial Entertainment insurance is required.
  • The ability to use a computer keyboard, sit in a stationary position for extended periods, and use office machinery such as fax and copy machines and telephones is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality service to customers, sell new lines of coverage, and cross-sell within the existing book of business.
  • Serve as the day-to-day liaison between the insurance company and designated accounts.
  • Manage and control relationships with business managers and individual customers.
  • Address coverage issues, analyze contracts and exposures, and handle or direct inside service work for client accounts.
  • Manage endorsement activity, routine coverage questions, problem solving, renewal control, formal proposal preparation, policy checking, and policy binding.
  • Inform the Producer about strategic account issues, claims, and other potential problems.
  • Oversee processes related to renewals, account management, new business development, and the use of Standard Operating Guidelines for insurance transactions.
  • Build and maintain constructive and effective client relationships by meeting client expectations.
  • Communicate with clients through email, phone contact, and meetings.
  • Respond to client inquiries and issues within 24 hours.
  • Resolve or assist with service and claims issues and questions.
  • Assist with or independently design insurance plans for clients.
  • Assist clients with appropriate coverage changes.
  • Conduct face-to-face client meetings to review summary reports, make presentations, and maintain client relationships.
  • Educate clients about coverage, exclusions, exposures, coverage gaps, stewardship programs, and other relevant information.
  • Monitor and review client satisfaction at least quarterly and report findings and issues to the account Producer.
Desired Qualifications
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • A current California Department of Insurance license is preferred.
  • Three to seven years of experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is preferred.
