Myrias Optics appoints Neil Anderson as chief revenue officer to drive global growth. July 22, 2026 Neil Anderson, Ph.D Myrias Optics has named Neil Anderson, Ph.D., as chief revenue officer, strengthening its executive leadership team as the company expands commercialization of its wafer-level metaoptics and diffractive optical technologies. Anderson will lead Myrias' global commercial strategy, overseeing sales, business development, marketing, strategic partnerships and commercial operations. The appointment comes as demand for advanced optical components accelerates across industries including artificial intelligence infrastructure, augmented and virtual reality, consumer electronics and advanced imaging. Myrias is positioning its proprietary nanoimprint manufacturing platform as a scalable approach to producing wafer-level flat optics for high-volume applications, an area gaining momentum as manufacturers seek more compact and cost-effective optical technologies. In his new role, Anderson will focus on expanding global adoption of Myrias' manufacturing platform while supporting commercialization across key growth markets, including AI data centers, consumer electronics, industrial photonics, life sciences and advanced imaging. The company believes its wafer-level production approach can help address growing demand for next-generation optical components as AI computing, immersive technologies and photonics applications continue to evolve. Anderson brings more than 15 years of commercial leadership experience in the optics and photonics industry, where he has helped bring advanced technologies from development to large-scale commercial deployment. His background spans strategic business development, go-to-market execution, customer engagement and operational leadership across global technology markets. Before joining Myrias, Anderson held senior executive roles at Gooch & Housego, quantum technology company Infleqtion and IDEX Corporation. During his career, he led global commercial organizations, developed growth strategies and built long-term partnerships with technology companies and Fortune 1000 customers. His experience covers optical components, integrated photonics, imaging technologies, photonic subsystems and advanced manufacturing serving semiconductor, data communications, aerospace and defense, medical diagnostics, life sciences, industrial sensing, quantum computing and consumer electronics markets. Chief Executive Officer John Fijol said Anderson's combination of commercial leadership and industry expertise will support Myrias' next phase of growth as it scales manufacturing and expands customer adoption worldwide. He said Anderson's experience commercializing advanced optics technologies and building enterprise partnerships will be important as the company moves from technology development toward broader market deployment. Anderson said he was attracted by Myrias' manufacturing platform and its potential to reshape production of AR waveguides and metaoptics at scale. He said the technology creates opportunities to support customers developing next-generation products in competitive global markets while accelerating adoption of flat optics across a range of emerging applications. Holding a doctorate in optical science and engineering from the Institute of Optics in Rochester, New York, along with a master's degree in physics, Anderson combines technical expertise with commercial leadership. His ability to bridge scientific research and business execution has helped companies transform advanced photonics technologies into commercially viable products and scalable businesses.
