Responsibilities
Develop and prepare detailed electrical engineering and construction installation drawings.
Consult with lead engineers and review project shop drawings for design accuracy.
Develop conceptual or detailed electrical designs in power distribution, lighting, low-voltage systems, instrumentation, and controls for a variety of industries.
Develop control panel drawings consisting of programmable logic controller panel layouts and input/output schematics.
Prepare electrical one-lines, power and lighting plans, electrical site plans, area classification plans, and grounding plans.
Develop Revit and AutoCAD three-dimensional and two-dimensional models.
Apply knowledge of the National Electrical Code and other applicable building codes to design projects.
Analyze mechanical and process designs by reviewing piping and instrumentation diagrams and general arrangement drawings.
Comply with company quality control and project management procedures.
Promote a positive working environment to help achieve organizational goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
