What you’ll do:
Day to Day Operations:
- Dealing with complex manifests (based on repeat entry times) and seating plans up to stadium level.
- Prepare events for on-sale by confirming and configuring event details including:
- Manifests, seating plans, price structures.
- Affiliate partners, artist / fan club, record label and other presales.
- Internal, VIP, ticket agent and other holds and allocations.
- Booking fees, rebates, ticket stock and text.
- Interfacing between stakeholders, delivering a fully integrated ticketing strategy, working closely with Accounts, Promoters, Marketing, and Events to drive revenue and profit, creating event pricing, scaling, manifest creation and sales forecasts.
- Responsible for all accounting and reporting of revenue for all ticket sales. Produce event sales forecasts, updates, charts, analyses, management information and other reports including final reconciliations and event settlements.
- Generate & distribute the weekly ticket count report for all shows to set deadlines.
- Ensure where required pre-event comms begin on time.
- Oversee on-site box-office operations during events alongside appointed Ticket Agents - including where required scoping technical setup and working on site at outdoor events as required, including weekends and evenings, and overseeing and/or staffing Box Office operations.
- Manage multiple shows in one day and at different locations.
- Liaise with the production and licensing teams to ensure terms and conditions are up to date and in line with ticketing and access control requirements, sponsor deliverables and onsite access control operation planning.
- Process internal ticket orders including guest lists and label requests; raising invoice requisitions as appropriate.
- Tracking the latest trends and technology within the ticketing industry
Agency Management
- Detailed knowledge of major international ticketing platforms and managing allocations across a variety of them.
- Agency management including contracts and SLA’s.
- Contract and commission negotiations.
- Identifying and introducing an effective event operating system to maximize multi agent ticket sales and revenue, to proactively manage inventory and allocations
- A proactive eye on agency strengths and weaknesses per territory
Data Handling and Compliance
- Collecting and handling data in a compliant way.
- Ensure Accessible and ADA compliant ticketing practices internationally
Customer Service
- Strong experience dealing with customer service and resolution.
- Establish and maintain high standards of customer service across all RG Live enquiry touchpoints.
- Resolve customer service issues, as necessary
Who you are:
- Demonstrable ticketing experience, including experience supervising, coaching, mentoring, or leading teams.
- Proficiency in ticketing software and good understanding / experience with Agents vs Software infrastructures.
- Demonstrable experience of managing event ticketing and allocations gained in a ticketing office, ticket agent or, ideally, promoter environment.
- Experience leading and developing a team
- Understanding of deal structures and the ability to oversee the development of business plans.
- Excellent Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- High level focus on detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive and demonstrates initiative, drive and commitment to achieve objectives.
- Self-motivated and takes ownership for personal and technical skills development.
- Well organised, deadline-focussed and adept at prioritising workloads.
- Combines analytical thought with creativity to excel at problem-solving.
- Maintains good commercial awareness and understands business drivers.
