About the company

Lovable enables people to build and ship web applications from natural-language prompts (vibe-coding) without writing code. Users describe their needs in plain language and the platform generates, deploys, and hosts the app, handling hosting and delivery. The product targets non-technical users and teams, with a multi-region platform designed for production-ready apps and large traffic, serving customers like Adidas, Nvidia, Deutsche Telekom and Zendesk. The goal is to democratize app creation at scale by turning natural-language prompts into deployable software and expanding the platform with broader features and regional teams.

Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy signs two MoUs to accelerate the adoption of agentic AI in the private sector

Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy signs two MoUs to accelerate the adoption of agentic AI in the private sector Dubai, October 19 /WAM/ - The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, signed two memoranda of understanding with Nebius Academy, the education and training arm of Nebius, a company specializing in cloud computing services for AI with a market value exceeding $63 billion, and Lovable, the leading software development platform. The aim is to accelerate the Dubai private sector's adoption of agentic AI solutions, helping raise companies' productivity and enhance their operational efficiency. The two MoUs come within the framework of the agentic AI transformation program for Dubai's private sector, launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, last May. Dubai Chambers oversees its implementation and, under the program, has launched specialized training tracks aimed at enabling and training 14,000 companies from the members of business groups and councils affiliated with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce to use agentic AI technologies in their administrative and operational processes. Saeed Al Qarqawi, Vice President of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, said: We are committed to enhancing the understanding of Dubai's private sector companies of agentic AI technologies and how to use them effectively, thereby supporting their digital ambitions, opening new horizons for growth and enhancing their competitiveness. Through this cooperation, we look forward to contributing to building a more innovative, resilient and future-ready business community by providing specialized knowledge and expertise, supporting startups in developing agentic AI solutions and reaching markets, and encouraging the business community to adopt such advanced solutions that enhance operational efficiency and help raise productivity. The MoU with Nebius Academy enables companies operating in Dubai to benefit from specialized training programs for leaders in AI and agentic AI and to develop their expertise in this field through the Dubai Chambers Academy, an integrated digital platform that provides specialized agentic AI training tracks for the private sector, along with a package of diverse training programs covering a wide range of fields. Raja Agrawal, Vice President of Nebius for the Middle East and Africa, said that through our cooperation with the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, Nebius Academy will help provide companies in Dubai with practical knowledge that enables them to move from understanding agentic AI to applying it effectively in their daily operations. While agentic AI has great potential to fundamentally transform the way companies work, innovate and grow, seizing this opportunity requires more than just making technology available; it requires having the right skills and capabilities. We are proud of our contribution to Dubai's ambition to enhance the private sector's future readiness and to support the development of AI capabilities that will form the foundation for the next generation of business innovation. The MoU with Nebius Academy also includes the provision and licensing of training content, the issuance of accredited certificates, the organization of technical workshops and specialized sessions supervised by expert specialists, as well as trainer preparation programs and access to learning platforms and related resources for executive leaders, technical teams and employees of companies that are members of Dubai Chambers. The MoU with Lovable aims to accelerate the adoption of agentic AI in Dubai's private sector by building capacities and training. Under it, the company will support entrepreneurship and skills development programs designed for companies and founders in the emirate, including access to its platform and educational resources, and participation in organizing events and joint workshops. Dubai Chambers will facilitate communication between Lovable and its member companies and partners. Within the cooperation framework, Lovable will provide credits for use of its platform, funded by Dubai Chambers, to participants in the Agentic AI Challenge, in support of founders and companies in building and applying agentic AI solutions. Lauren Rudd, Chief Revenue Officer at Lovable, said that agentic AI enables anyone with an idea to turn it into reality, and we are pleased to support more founders and companies in Dubai and provide them with the tools needed to launch what they create and manage their businesses, starting with the teams participating in the Agentic AI Challenge. The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy continues its efforts to support the growth of Dubai's digital economy and accelerate the emirate's transformation into one of the world's leading digital economies, in line with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, while the signing of the two MoUs comes within the Chamber's efforts to enhance the private sector's competitiveness, support its readiness to benefit from future technologies, and consolidate Dubai's position as a global center for the digital economy. - Economy - Science and technology - United Arab Emirates (ARE) - Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy - Nebius - Dubai Chambers Academy The news is also available in the following languages:

Boris Nordenström was Lovable's first investor before $9B valuation

Swedish AI startup Lovable has grown into a global leader less than two years after launch, recently closing a funding round at a valuation of SEK 127 billion. Co-founders Anton Osika and Fabian Hedin are now dollar billionaires. In an interview with Framgångspodden, Osika revealed that Boris Nordenström, investor and founder of Jobline, was the company's first angel investor, followed by venture capital firm Hummingbird. He noted the initial investment wasn't a significant sum, as he and Hedin had no trouble raising capital from the start. The company's valuation more than doubled from SEK 61 billion in late 2025. Lovable aims to become "the last piece of software", building all other services.

Lovable can now publish apps into your company's Microsoft account. The publishing part is still in preview.

Lovable can now publish apps into your company's Microsoft account. The publishing part is still in preview. Lovable can now publish apps into a company's Microsoft tenant with work logins. The publishing step is in public preview, so check what IT sees first. BuilderWithin Editorial Team BuilderWithin Lovable says it now works with Microsoft so that apps built in Lovable can run inside a company's own Microsoft environment. In Lovable's announcement, the company says the aim is to remove a familiar gap: a tool built on a SharePoint list works for one team, but putting it in front of the whole company becomes a separate project. A "tenant" is your company's private slice of Microsoft's cloud, where employee accounts, permissions, and approved apps live. Apps inside it use the same sign-in and rules as everything else IT manages. What Lovable actually shipped. Lovable describes three connections. Publish into your tenant. Once an app is built, you connect Copilot Managed Runtime and publish. Lovable packages the app with Microsoft's Copilot Managed Runtime SDK and deploys it into your Microsoft Entra tenant. Entra is Microsoft's employee account system. People open the app with their work login, and it appears in the company's app inventory. Build on Microsoft 365 and Fabric data. You can connect Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, or OneNote. Lovable says the app builds on that data and writes back to it. Connecting Microsoft Fabric lets the app read your lakehouses and warehouses, which are Microsoft's data storage products for analytics. Lovable says nothing is exported or copied. Apps can also read and write Dataverse and SQL, which matters if your company runs on Dynamics. The availability details matter. Lovable says Copilot Managed Runtime is in public preview. That is the piece that puts the app inside the tenant, so the headline feature is the least settled one. Preview features can change or behave unevenly, and Lovable's post does not describe what happens to a published app if that changes. The Microsoft 365 connectors, Fabric integration, and Microsoft sign-in are listed as available across all plans. Workspace sign-in with Entra ID is included on Business and Enterprise. Lovable lists SSO, SCIM, security scanning, and audit logs on those plans too. Lovable does not publish separate pricing for the Microsoft features in this announcement. The risk: an app that can write to company data. Reading a SharePoint list is low stakes. Writing back to it, or to Outlook and Teams, is not. An app you generated by prompt can now change real company records with real employees' permissions. Lovable's post does not say how much of an employee's access the app inherits when it writes. Treat that as unanswered until you test it. What builders should do next. If you build internal tools for a company on Microsoft, run a small pilot before anyone depends on it. * Pick one low-stakes app, such as a request tracker on a test SharePoint list, not a live one. * Publish it through Copilot Managed Runtime following Lovable's documentation. * Ask IT to confirm three things: the app appears in the app inventory, only directory members can sign in, and a person without access to the underlying list cannot see its data through the app. * Try to write a bad record on purpose, then confirm you can see and undo it. Pass means all three access checks hold and you can trace and reverse the write. If any fail, keep the app on the read-only connectors until Lovable documents more. The bigger picture. Lovable's own framing is that getting an app in front of a whole company is a separate project from building it. This release is its attempt to shrink that project. Whether the preview holds up for a whole company is the open question. End of article BuilderWithin Weekly · Free If you found this useful, subscribe free. Get BuilderWithin Weekly in your inbox. Is that new (vibe coded) app safe? 5 questions to ask first.

Is that new (vibe coded) app safe? 5 questions to ask first. Hey there, tech enthusiasts! Curious about the latest in AI software development? Let's talk about how to ensure that shiny new app you're eyeing won't compromise your data. 25 Sep 2026 - , 6 min. read Exciting times are here with AI platforms revolutionizing various industries, especially software development. Have you heard of "vibe coding"? It's a hot trend that's making waves, with reports suggesting that 84% of developers are jumping on the AI tools bandwagon. But as convenient as these tools are, they also come with risks. Novice developers may inadvertently introduce bugs and vulnerabilities, while experienced ones can be lulled into a false sense of security. So, how can you ensure that the app you're eyeing is safe to use? Common vibe coding mistakes. When functionality and aesthetics take precedence over quality, vibe coding tools can introduce critical oversights. Watch out for: * Hardcoded secrets like API keys left in the code, exposing sensitive data to malicious actors. * Lack of input validation and access controls, opening the door to data manipulation and unauthorized access. * Public-by-default settings that compromise user privacy and security. * Weak encryption that makes data theft easier. * Missing rate limiting that allows for brute-force attacks on passwords. Additionally, vibe coded apps are susceptible to prompt injection attacks, where hackers embed malicious instructions in AI-generated content. A cautionary tale. Real-world incidents have highlighted the dangers of coding oversights. For example, the vibe coding platform Lovable faced security issues when a researcher found vulnerabilities in an app hosted on the platform, exposing sensitive user information. Potential risks of vibe coded apps. From data loss to financial exposure, poorly coded apps can lead to: * Compromised passwords and session tokens * Identity theft through mishandled personal data * Unauthorized data access by other users * Exposure of AI prompts and sensitive information * Leakage of payment information Key questions to ask about vibe coded apps. Before downloading any app, consider these questions: * Developer legitimacy: Check reviews, reputation, and support channels. * Permissions and data access: Ensure they align with the app's functionality. * Privacy policy: Look for transparency on data collection and storage. * Security measures: Seek apps with robust password protection and vulnerability reporting. * AI capabilities: Understand the risks of prompt injection. Dealing with a breached app. If you suspect a compromised app, take action by changing passwords, requesting account deletion, and monitoring for misuse. Uninstall the app and consider a factory reset for added security. Have more questions? What does 'vibe coded' mean? 'Vibe coded' apps are created using AI tools with minimal manual review, enabling a wider range of developers. How do I know if an app was built with AI? While it may not be obvious, focus on security, privacy policies, and developer reputation. Are all vibe coded apps dangerous? Not necessarily, but novice developers may introduce risks. How can I tell if an app is safe? Consider developer credibility, permissions, security measures, and AI access. What if I've used a compromised app? Take immediate steps to secure your accounts and devices, and seek professional assistance if needed.
