Technical Sales Representative
About the job
- A BSc or MSc degree in Chemistry, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
- At least two years of experience in technical sales of analytical laboratory and/or process instrumentation is required.
- Business-level proficiency in Bahasa Melayu and English is required.
- Willingness to travel within the region and overseas for activities such as product training is required.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills are required.
- Periodically visit, maintain, and foster relationships with existing customers within the assigned sales territory.
- Generate new revenue through prospecting, lead and funnel development, and effective territory management.
- Prepare tender documents and quotations.
- Provide technical presentations and professionally demonstrate the assigned product portfolio to potential customers.
- Install newly delivered products and train customers in their proper use.
- Periodically update and maintain project progress and activities in the Customer Relationship Management system.
- Participate in or host workshops, conferences, and exhibitions.
- Take overall responsibility for conveying the company's value proposition to customers.
