Requirements
  • 6+ years’ experience in auto injury claims
  • Strong claims legal knowledge of relevant legislation and case laws in a multi-state jurisdiction
  • Team player with positive mental attitude, high energy, high integrity, strong work ethic, enthusiasm, sense of humor, and commitment to the mission
  • Strong proficiency with technology such as Claims Management systems, CRM systems, Google Docs, MS Office, and mobile systems
  • BA/BS preferred
  • State licensing desired
  • Commitment to high responsiveness and availability
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, drive and embrace change
  • Excellent follow-through, attention to detail, and minimal need for supervision
Responsibilities
  • Lead claim consultations with liability insurance partners
  • Organize claim reviews, compile feedback, provide coaching, and performance feedback to liability partners
  • Review claims data to measure and track account performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Work closely with other teams at Turo to implement actionable changes based on claims observations
  • Develop best practices, improve workflow and efficiency with the Turo protection team
  • Audit invoicing from carriers for handling and paid claims to ensure accuracy
  • Identify and drive ongoing improvements to policies and procedures
  • Review cases in litigation, consult on litigation plans, ensure best handling for hosts and guests
  • Be a subject-matter expert for liability claims within Turo, aid internal team in understanding liability claim workflows and referral processes
  • Provide support to audit partners to verify and test claims data
