Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience working in a Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering or Data Engineering role.
  • Strong proficiency in Big Data query tools such as SQL or Apache Spark. Comfortable with Python for data manipulation and development of orchestration pipelines.
  • Experience in the development, maintenance and monitoring of large data pipelines with an orchestration tool such as Airflow, Dagster or DBT.
  • Understanding of Big Data processing fundamentals e.g. partitioning strategies, SQL query performance optimization.
  • Experience developing data models that support scalable, cost-effective analytics pipelines.
  • Experience writing data quality checks and unit tests to ensure high quality data and analytics.
  • Experience creating analytics solutions using visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau.
  • Proficiency in version control tools (Git).
Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient data pipelines using Apache Airflow & Beam.
  • Ensure pipelines are robust and maintain high levels of trust and integrity by implementing data quality checks, unit tests, pipeline monitoring, error handling, and logging mechanisms.
  • Design and build the data model to support scalable and repeatable analytics.
  • Collaborate with Data Science, Engineering and Product teams to understand data needs and translate into solutions.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries including use of CTEs and window functions.
  • Develop RADAR’s data product offering.
  • Develop custom visualizations and dashboards with tools like Looker.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with real-time data streams and large-scale data warehouses.
  • Knowledge of developing pipelines that support ML model training and serving.
  • Knowledge of modern data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Databricks or Big Query.
  • Bachelor’s degree and equivalent practical experience or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
