  • A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on understanding of search engine optimization fundamentals across technical search engine optimization, content strategy, internal linking, structured data, information architecture, and offsite authority.
  • Working knowledge of Answer Engine Optimization concepts, including entity signals, source and citation analysis, conversational query behavior, and how content may be interpreted by artificial intelligence models and answer engines.
  • Ability to audit technical search engine optimization issues and explain their impact in plain language to cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize recommendations using impact and effort, business goals, dependencies, and performance data.
  • Strong analytical, research, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn data and observations into clear next steps.
  • Comfort using Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Excel or Google Sheets, Looker Studio, crawling tools such as Screaming Frog, search engine optimization research and ranking platforms, and content management system platforms.
  • Working knowledge of HyperText Markup Language, Cascading Style Sheets, JavaScript rendering considerations, and schema markup.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines while staying organized, collaborative, and accountable.
  • Must pass background and reference checks and provide documentation of legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

  • Nevada-based applicants are preferred; applicants in California, Arizona, Washington, and Oregon may also be considered, provided they are available to travel if needed.
Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day search engine optimization and Answer Engine Optimization deliverables, including audits, content briefs, analysis, reporting inputs, and optimization recommendations, with rigor, polish, and clear rationale.
  • Collaborate with content, development, analytics, paid media, account, and strategy teams to ensure recommendations are actionable, integrated, and tied to broader marketing plans.
  • Conduct keyword, topic, intent, search engine results page, competitor, and artificial intelligence research to identify content gaps, entity and authority opportunities, and visibility risks across traditional search and artificial intelligence platforms.
  • Analyze how artificial intelligence models understand, summarize, cite, and recommend brands, and translate findings into identified patterns, source and citation gaps, and recommended actions.
  • Support offsite integration strategies by researching social media, citations, digital public relations, partnerships, and other cross-channel signals that influence organic and artificial intelligence visibility.
  • Audit technical search engine optimization issues, including crawlability, indexation, internal linking, URL structure, redirects, canonicalization, XML sitemaps, robots directives, page speed and Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, JavaScript rendering, and schema markup.
  • Translate technical findings into prioritized roadmaps that balance business impact, user value, level of effort, development dependencies, and performance risk.
  • Identify and implement structured data, metadata, internal linking, and content enhancements that improve search engine and answer engine understanding, eligibility for rich results, and alignment with user intent.
  • Monitor organic performance using platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, and rank and visibility tools; surface signals early and explain what changed, why it matters, and what to do next.
  • Complete background and reference checks and provide documentation of legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Work full-time primarily during Noble's core business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday.
