Requirements
- At least 1 year of continuous experience in a Quality Inspector position in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to analyze, read, and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to use a tape measure, calipers, and other testing and measuring tools; testing will be administered.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Ability to recognize and report issues to appropriate departments, leads, and supervisors.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to use a computer for research and document review, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and with a group while remaining focused, energetic, hardworking, and dependable.
- Ability to stand for 10 hours per day and bend, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-aerospace manufacturing environment and perform multiple tasks concurrently to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Examine material goods and products on the production line and approve or reject items based on engineering requirements.
- Perform First Article Inspection, in-process inspection approval, and final inspection.
- Conduct visual and measurement tests.
- Advise and communicate required adjustments or corrective actions to production leads, supervisors, and directors.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs according to company procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform other activities and duties assigned by the supervisor.
