Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple teams of senior professionals to deliver enterprise data remediation programs.
  • Leverage exceptional interpersonal and executive communication skills to drive consensus and influence relationships across a wide range of audiences.
  • Accountable for budget and planning to execute on data objectives. Has authority to negotiate and make independent decisions on issues/activities that have critical impact or influence on business operations.
  • Define and deliver against the Finance data quality strategy in line with enterprise data strategy for the execution of data quality deliverables; work with the functions, lines of business and regions to define and deliver against the prioritized scope for the enterprise data programs.
  • Integrate and align functions, lines of business and regional data roadmaps into a data quality roadmap to deliver on the data mandate and liaise with key stakeholders to communicate the data quality strategy and progress towards achieving it.
  • Build and execute the prioritized book of work to remediate data quality issues including operational processes and system enhancements; tooling updates; and reporting.
  • Manage and monitor data quality metrics to proactively identify remediation opportunities, drive solutioning, and improve data quality scorecards. Establish organizational construct and encourage culture of identifying and logging data quality issues through the appropriate process and tooling.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Address Regulatory feedback by developing remediation plans, providing consistent and clear updates to regulators in a timely manner, and being responsible for the on-time delivery against regulatory milestones and deliverables.
  • Oversee internal audit and risk management engagement and drive successful outcomes across BAU processes and internal or external initiatives through the identification of Issues and on time remediation of corrective action plans.
  • Ensure sound program / project management for entire Data portfolio (in partnership with Program Management Office), including ensuring clear deliverables and timelines are defined accurately, there is timely identification of risk/risk management established, internal sponsors / clients / beneficiaries are accurately assessed and engaged, and a process that ensures accurate milestone reporting and changes is instituted.
  • Develop and leverage end-to-end change management processes to drive data quality remediation efforts, including change delivery, adoption, governance, and sustainability.
  • Develops, monitors, interprets, and applied policies and procedures, and provides effective review and challenge to ensure they align with data quality strategy and roadmaps.
  • Create and deliver effective presentations suitable for all audience types, including the Citigroup Board, Executive Management Team, and partners.
