Claritas Rx appoints biopharma commercial leader Jonathan Witt to Board of Directors. Former Genentech Senior Vice President brings more than 25 years of biopharma experience to guide continued growth and patient impact. South San Francisco, CA, October 13, 2026 - Claritas Rx, the patient journey experts, today announced the appointment of Jonathan Witt to its Board of Directors. Mr. Witt is an accomplished senior executive with more than 25 years of experience in U.S. and global biopharmaceutical roles. He has a proven record of evaluating market opportunities across diverse therapeutic areas, setting development, commercialization, and corporate strategy, building and scaling enterprise capabilities, and transforming organizations to deliver leading customer experiences. Mr. Witt is the Chief Customer Experience Officer at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, where he leads the global commercial organization's evolution to deliver a seamless, differentiated patient and customer experience across all therapeutic areas. Before Jazz, Mr. Witt spent nearly 20 years at Genentech, most recently as Senior Vice President of Genentech Business Operations, a 1,000-person organization spanning omnichannel and customer experience, AI and advanced analytics, and patient access and support. He led the company's Integrated Customer Experience strategy, which delivered $700 million in portfolio revenue in 2024, and guided a multi-year transformation of Genentech's U.S. organization. He previously held vice president roles in pipeline strategy and commercialization, access and distribution, and market analysis and strategy. Earlier in his career, Mr. Witt spent four years at Pfizer in neuroscience new product development and three years in healthcare management consulting with Towers Perrin. He holds an MBA in marketing and strategic management from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in economics from Princeton University. "After more than 25 years inside biopharma companies, I know firsthand how much depends on what happens between a prescription and a patient starting therapy," said Mr. Witt. "I've seen how hard it is for commercial and patient services teams to act on access barriers they can't see. Claritas Rx brings visibility to that part of the patient journey, along with the tools to resolve challenges before they disrupt care. I see tremendous potential for Claritas Rx solutions to power meaningful impact for biopharma customers and the patients they serve, and I'm excited to help guide the company's next stage of growth." "Jonathan has spent his career building the kind of customer-centric, data-driven commercial organizations our clients are working toward every day," said Michael Fitzgibbons, CEO of Claritas Rx. "His deep experience in patient access, omnichannel engagement, AI and analytics, and enterprise transformation will be invaluable as we continue to scale and deliver measurable results for rare disease and specialty brands and the patients they serve. Claritas Rx wins Fierce AI Innovation Award for Omnichannel Engagement Strategy.

Claritas Rx wins Fierce AI Innovation Award for Omnichannel Engagement Strategy. E-mail Address StreetInsider.com Top Tickers, 9/2/2026 September 2, 2026 11:37 AM EDT Patient Watchtower(TM) and Patient Services Omnichannel CRM Recognized for Turning Predictive Signals Into Coordinated Action Across the Patient Journey SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.-(BUSINESS WIRE)- Claritas Rx, the patient journey experts, today announced it has won the Fierce AI Innovation Award in the Omnichannel Engagement Strategy category. The award recognizes Patient Watchtower(TM) and the Patient Services Omnichannel CRM - two connected AI-powered solutions that let biopharma manufacturers spot risk earlier in the patient journey and coordinate real-time action across every partner helping patients start and stay on therapy. Claritas Rx wins Fierce AI Innovation Award for Omnichannel Engagement Strategy. Patient Watchtower(TM) and Patient Services Omnichannel CRM recognized for turning predictive signals into coordinated action across the patient journey. For patients prescribed specialty and rare disease therapies, the path from prescription to treatment is fragile. Between 31% and 40% of specialty prescriptions go unfilled, and patients whose fill takes longer than 30 days convert at a rate 18 percentage points lower than those who fill sooner. Along the way, a single patient may touch a hub, a specialty pharmacy, a payer, and a copay program within days of each other, each generating data that, on its own, tells only part of the story. Historically, patient services teams have had to wait for a missed fill or a lapsed authorization to signal that a patient had already fallen off therapy. Patient Watchtower and the Patient Services Omnichannel CRM close that gap by connecting prediction to action at every stage of the journey. Patient Watchtower uses AI and machine learning to predict therapy discontinuation, prior authorization denial, and prescription abandonment up to 90 days in advance, with up to 80% precision. The moment a patient is flagged, the Patient Services Omnichannel CRM helps turns that signal into coordinated outreach, connecting case managers, hub partners, and specialty pharmacies in a single workflow so the right partner can respond before a patient drops off therapy. "Every stage of the patient journey generates a signal, but most teams don't see it until it's too late," said Michael Fitzgibbons, CEO of Claritas Rx. "This award reflects work that's built entirely around closing that gap - connecting the moment we detect risk to the moment someone acts on it, so patients start and stay on the therapies they need. That's the promise we make on every patient journey, and it's an honor to see our innovation recognized by Fierce and the industry." Since launching, Patient Watchtower and the Patient Services Omnichannel CRM have delivered measurable results across the patient journey, including a 20% improvement in fill rates, 17% increase in refill rates, a 98% partner response rate within 24 hours, and a significant reduction in manual case management burden - freeing patient services teams to focus on direct patient care rather than administrative reconciliation. The Fierce AI Innovation Awards, presented by Fierce Life Sciences, recognize organizations that are moving beyond AI pilots to deliver measurable impact across the biotech, pharma, and healthcare value chain, from R&D and clinical trials to commercialization, manufacturing, and care delivery. Entries were evaluated on innovation, impact, execution, scalability, and industry relevance. Winners were announced in Fierce Life Sciences' September 2 Special Report. About Claritas Rx Based in South San Francisco, CA, Claritas Rx helps rare disease and specialty brands remove the barriers that keep patients from accessing and staying on the treatments they need. Currently celebrating its 15-year anniversary, the company unites the most complete view of the patient journey with purpose-built technologies to predict and resolve access challenges before they disrupt care. Claritas Rx introduces Consent Clearinghouse(TM) to modernize Patient Consent Management across biopharma. New Solution Gives Oncology and Rare Disease Teams a Centralized, Compliant View of Patient Consent Across the Full Therapy Journey New White Paper from Claritas Rx Entitled "Why Consent Management is Biopharma's Blind Spot" Now Available SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.-(BUSINESS WIRE)-Claritas Rx, the patient journey experts, today announced Consent Clearinghouse(TM), a dedicated solution for standardizing and centralizing patient consent across oncology, rare disease, and specialty biopharma. "Real-time visibility into consent status isn't just about reducing compliance risk today; it's about building the trust infrastructure that will define how brands responsibly scale patient engagement tomorrow," said Mike Fitzgibbons, CEO of Claritas Rx. Share As biopharma companies navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment, including HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, a growing patchwork of state privacy laws, and the emerging rules governing the use of AI, managing patient consent across multiple data sources, specialty pharmacies, hubs, and channel partners has become a critical operational and compliance challenge. Consent Clearinghouse addresses this directly by providing a single, auditable source of truth for consent data across all touchpoints. Consent Clearinghouse integrates consent data from across a brand's ecosystem, including hubs, specialty pharmacies, field reimbursement managers, copay programs, and IOD/IDN channels, into a unified dashboard. Commercial and market access teams gain real-time visibility into consent status, enabling them to act on data with confidence while reducing compliance risk. "Commercial and market access teams can no longer afford to operate on fragmented consent data - the pace of AI-driven engagement has raised the stakes too high. Real-time visibility into consent status isn't just about reducing compliance risk today; it's about building the trust infrastructure that will define how brands responsibly scale patient engagement tomorrow," said Michael Fitzgibbons, CEO of Claritas Rx. "We built Consent Clearinghouse to give biopharma teams the visibility and control they need to operate compliantly, move faster, and ultimately serve more patients. This is particularly critical for patients in oncology and rare disease who can't afford delays caused by missing or mismanaged consent." Key Consent Clearinghouse capabilities include: * Unified consent tracking across all patient touchpoints and data sources * Real-time dashboard providing consent status visibility at the patient, brand, and channel level * Audit-ready reporting to support HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and state privacy compliance * Seamless integration with existing CRM, hub, and specialty pharmacy platforms * Role-based access controls to protect sensitive patient data across teams and partners With experience supporting numerous brands across oncology, rare, and specialty therapeutic areas, Claritas Rx designed Consent Clearinghouse specifically for the complex, high-stakes environment of specialty and rare disease therapies, where patient access barriers and compliance requirements are greatest. Consent and Compliance Thought Leadership Consent management is no longer just a compliance issue; it is a patient access issue. Claritas Rx's new white paper, "Why Consent Management is Biopharma's Blind Spot," breaks down where consent gaps form, what they cost, and how leading biopharma teams are building a more unified, audit-ready approach across the full therapy journey. A companion webinar, "The Hidden Risk in Your Access Strategy: Rethinking Patient Consent Management," will take place on August 19 at 10 am PT (1 pm ET). Media may request a copy of the white paper or registration to the webinar by contacting Emily Brennan.
