Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience in business analysis, systems analysis, legal operations, or a related field, or a master's degree in a specialized field such as Information Systems, Business Administration, Law, or Computer Science and at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Deep, proven business analysis and systems analysis skills, including strategic planning, project management, developing key performance indicators and milestones, data visualization technologies, and implementation.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, particularly data storytelling and driving consensus.
  • Experience working within a corporate legal department or law firm environment.
  • Hands-on experience with matter management systems and/or electronic billing platforms such as TeamConnect and Litify.
  • Familiarity with legal billing guidelines, outside counsel management, and invoice review processes.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the legal matter management and billing solution.
  • Serve as the primary interface between the Spend Operations group and Legal and Global Security practice areas in the matter management and billing domain.
  • Bridge business stakeholders and technology teams by driving the analysis, design, and delivery of solutions that support legal operations at scale.
  • Bring structure and clarity to complex programs.
  • Lead change management efforts.
  • Ensure matter management and electronic billing systems are optimized to meet evolving organizational needs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-level programs with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Proficiency with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Change management certification such as Prosci ADKAR or CCMP.
  • Project management certification such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or Agile/Scrum.
  • Familiarity with common artificial intelligence tools and platforms.

Apple discloses $14.7B EU tax payment in Ireland following court ruling

Apple has disclosed its profits and tax payments across individual EU countries for the first time under new transparency rules. The tech giant reported $17.1 billion in income tax paid in Ireland for the financial year ending September 2025, reflecting funds released from an escrow account following a European Court of Justice ruling. In September 2024, Apple lost a legal battle with the European Commission over Irish tax advantages, resulting in a €13 billion ($15.2 billion) back taxes order plus interest. In Germany, Apple recorded pre-tax profit of around $209 million and paid $153.5 million in income tax. Its German operations generated $2.72 billion in revenue and employed 4,089 people. Under EU rules, multinational companies with global annual revenue exceeding €750 million must publicly disclose income tax information for individual countries.

Meta releases open-source AI models while Apple tests Chinese memory chips to tackle supply crunch

Apple books $6M profit per Irish employee vs. $51K in Germany

Apple paid Ireland $17 billion in taxes last year, representing 40% of its $43 billion worldwide corporate income tax bill, according to the Financial Times. Apple lays off 60 Vision Pro staff, shifts focus to smart glasses as Ternus prepares for CEO role
