$10 billion-plus shoe brand Skechers reaffirms commitment to Manhattan Beach as original HQ goes up for sale.

$10 billion-plus shoe brand Skechers reaffirms commitment to Manhattan Beach as original HQ goes up for sale. The company is nearing completion of its new campus in Manhattan Beach. October 27, 2026, 11:24am Skechers has no intention of leaving Manhattan Beach, Calif. In fact, the shoe brand is nearing completion of a new 500,000 square-foot, five-building corporate campus along Pacific Coast Highway in Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach. That also means that it has outgrown its original 28,000 square foot office at 228 Manhattan Beach Boulevard from the early 1990s. The original downtown location serves as an auxiliary office supporting the apparel and kids divisions, but staff there will soon relocate to the new campus. And with the staff move imminent, Skechers has put the original headquarters site up for sale. "As Skechers has evolved over three decades into a $10 billion-plus brand, the third largest in the world and the second larges in the United States, so too has its physical footprint," the company said in a statement. "With construction of Skechers' newest building nearing completion, the remaining reams at 228 Manhattan Beach Boulevard will relocate to the new facility, situated directly opposite the exising product building - a move that has been in plan for years, timed intentionally to align with the building's completion." You May also Like. The statement added that Skechers remains deeply rooted in the community it has always called home: "Manhattan Beach is not just where the company was built - it is where Skechers first opened its doors to customers, and where that original store still stands today. The brand's commitment to this community is as strong as ever, and its continued and growing presence along the coast is a testament to the pride Skechers takes in calling Manhattan Beach home." A spokesperson said that the sale of the original office "represents the natural next step of Skechers' long-term real estate strategy: consolidating operations, fostering collaboration, and positioning the brand for continued growth from a modern, purpose-built campus." The original downtown office is a three-story building that was extensive renovated in 2018. It also features a parking garage and is believed to be able to house ground floor retail space. Skechers has hired CBRE as the listing agent, according to published reports. A listing price has not been disclosed, but real estate website Movoto estimated that the value of the site could be in the range between $83.5 million to $102 million. Over the years, Skechers has grown into a behemoth in the shoe industry, and it continues to innovate and grow. Earlier this month, Skechers disclosed it now has its first super shoe, the Aero Elite, that's designed for racing. The shoe is engineered to perform from 5Ks to marathons, with a design that minimizes weight and maximizes responsiveness, as well as delivering on comfort. Last year, Skechers completed its $9 billion deal with 3G Capital to take the company private. The brand continues to innovate and expand operations. In April, Skechers opened its Copenhagen flagship as it continues to grow its European footprint. And through it all, the company remembers to give back to the community. At its now annual tradition, its 18th to date, the Skechers Foundation along with the Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk and presenting sponsor Nickelodeon raised a record-breaking $3.3 million for children with special needs and education. The pier-to-pier, 3.4-mile walk in Southern California's South Bay thus far has raised a total of $35 million for children with special needs, public schools and national college scholarships. Entwistle & Cappucci LLP and Susman Godfrey L.L.P. file a Securities class action complaint against Skechers U.S.A., Inc. and related defendants.

Entwistle & Cappucci LLP and Susman Godfrey L.L.P. file a Securities class action complaint against Skechers U.S.A., Inc. and related defendants. * Oct 22, 2026 Entwistle & Cappucci LLP and Susman Godfrey L.L.P. today announced that they filed a class action complaint ("Complaint") against Skechers U.S.A., Inc. ("Skechers" or the "Company") and certain of its officers and directors (collectively, the "Skechers Defendants"), as well as 3G Capital Partners L.P., Greenhill & Co., LLC and related defendants (collectively, "Defendants") on behalf of a class (the "Class") consisting of all persons or entities that sold shares of Skechers Class A common stock from April 24, 2025 through September 12, 2025, including those who sold shares in the Take-Private acquisition (the "Take-Private Acquisition") of Skechers by 3G Capital Partners L.P. and its affiliates on September 12, 2025. The action ("Action") seeks to recover losses on behalf of Class members that were damaged as a result of an alleged scheme to deflate the price of Skechers stock through materially false and misleading statements and omissions of material facts in the April 24, 2025 Information Statement and related public reports concerning the Take-Private Acquisition, as well as other allegedly deceptive acts. Among other things, the Complaint alleges that the Skechers Defendants (i) falsely asserted that the Take-Private Acquisition and the $63 per share consideration were fair, (ii) made materially misleading statements about the mixed merger consideration and the impact of the U.S. and China tariffs on the Company, and (iii) misled investors about strategic alternatives and purported efforts to explore such alternatives. The Complaint further alleges that certain Defendants, including 3G Capital and Greenhill, engaged in a scheme and course of conduct to deceive Skechers shareholders. The misstatements, omissions and other wrongdoing set forth in the Complaint allegedly caused Class members to sell or exchange Skechers Class A common stock at artificially deflated prices and forgo their statutory right to appraisal. The Action was filed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California and is captioned: SM Merger/Arbitrage, L.P. v. Skechers U.S.A., Inc., et al., No. 2:26-cv-12327. The Complaint asserts claims under Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Securities and Exchange Commission Rule 10b-5, promulgated thereunder. If you wish to serve as a lead plaintiff in this matter, you must file a motion with the Court no later than December 21, 2026. Any member of the proposed Class may move the Court to serve as a lead plaintiff through counsel of their choice, or they may choose to do nothing and remain a member of the Class. Skechers: former Snipes CEO Dennis Schröder is new head of EMEA region.

Skechers: former Snipes CEO Dennis Schröder is new head of EMEA region. 2 hours ago Automated translation Read the original in German US footwear provider Skechers has a new head for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. In a post on the business network Linkedin, Dennis Schröder announced that he has been working as general manager EMEA for the brand since the beginning of September. Trade magazine Textilwirtschaft (TW) had previously reported on the appointment. According to his own statement, Schröder is now responsible at Skechers for "58 countries, more than 6,500 colleagues, over 1,000 stores, a fast-growing online business and two major logistics centres" in the region. Schröder led sportswear chain Snipes until spring. Schröder joins from retail chain Snipes, which belongs to the Deichmann Group and which he led as CEO from 2024 until spring. Most recently, he held an advisory role there. Prior to his time at Snipes, he worked for companies including 11Teamsports, Puma and Nike. In May, German sportswear provider Puma SE introduced Schröder as its designated head of Europe. According to a statement published in May, he was due to take over the role of managing director Europe in August. However, according to a report by TW, he never took up this post. Instead, Puma filled the position with former Nike manager Fokko de Rooi, who has been in office since October 1. Skechers was delisted from the stock exchange in September 2025 following its acquisition by financial investor 3G Capital and has no longer reported regularly on its business performance since then. In the US, the trainer specialist is now the second-largest footwear brand measured by pairs sold, according to its own figures. At the same time, Skechers is continuing to focus on expansion in the EMEA region, which achieved strong sales growth according to the latest available figures from last year. To support this momentum, the company recently built a new logistics centre in Belgium, among other initiatives. Dennis Schröder
