Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Set the content direction and strategy for the therapeutic area.
  • Oversee all content producers, content franchises, partner programs, and high-impact initiatives within the therapeutic vertical.
  • Ensure content aligns with audience needs, clinical trends, brand positioning, and enterprise-wide goals.
  • Build, optimize, and oversee an enterprise-level key opinion leader ecosystem across the specialty.
  • Define strategic faculty engagement plans for premium programs and large-scale initiatives.
  • Develop long-term relationships with key opinion leaders, clinical trial investigators, society leaders, and industry influencers.
  • Concept, design, and elevate major content products, including premium video programs, recurring franchises, expert panels, congress series, and social-first formats.
  • Lead content experimentation and pilot new models that modernize clinician engagement.
  • Identify cross-brand opportunities and develop initiatives that drive influence and scale across the enterprise.
  • Lead and mentor Content Producers and Content Associates.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, goal-setting, and succession planning.
  • Assign resources strategically based on product demand, vertical priorities, and business needs.
  • Leverage analytics and audience insights to refine calendars, optimize engagement, and maintain editorial quality.
  • Ensure best-in-class practices for search engine optimization, answer engine optimization, user experience, and platform-specific performance.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Content Strategy, Project Management, Business Development, and other stakeholders to support enterprise initiatives.
  • Participate in high-level client interactions and key opinion leader recruitment strategy.
  • Champion emerging trends in artificial intelligence, video production, digital storytelling, and clinician engagement.
  • Pilot new tools, workflows, and formats that advance the department's capabilities.
Desired Qualifications
  • An advanced scientific degree such as a Master of Science, Master of Public Health, Doctor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Medicine, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading content teams, managing key opinion leader partnerships, and producing complex multimedia programs is desirable.
  • Demonstrated success overseeing content strategy at a therapeutic-area or portfolio level is desirable.

MJH Healthcare affirms B2 rating, acquires BPD

Moody's Ratings affirmed MJH Healthcare's B2 corporate family rating following its agreement to acquire BPD Healthcare for approximately $450 million. The acquisition will be financed with a $430 million incremental senior secured term loan. Despite an increase in debt-to-EBITDA to 5.7x, MJH is expected to reduce it to 5x within 12-18 months. The outlook remains stable, with expectations of good liquidity and no significant M&A activity during the integration of BPD.
