We are hiring a Data Scientist! Join our innovative AI team at Novisto and contribute to cutting-edge solutions in the ESG space.

Your responsibilities will include:  

• Apply the most recent research work and technologies to solve problems related to text analysis and understanding, data extraction from unstructured documents, and other NLP problems
• Apply and keep track of the most recent advances in LLM and generative AI technologies
• Apply machine learning and classical machine learning approaches for computer vision problems related to document analysis and other problems linked to the ESG space.
• Design, implement, and evaluate algorithms that solve business problems.
• Build AI products in line with relevant industry best practices.
• Maintain and improve AI services in production
• Communicate and coordinate with the team following Agile development principles
• Take part in code reviews, tasks grooming, and brainstorming sessions
• Follow the policies and procedures
• Respect and follow the established security controls
• Report any risk, incident, or anomalous situation that could affect the security of Novisto or customer data

What we’re looking for:  

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, specializing in Machine Learning and/or Data Science, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of machine learning experience
• 2+ years of hands-on work with Python-based Data Science, Computer Vision, and NLP packages
• 2+ years working with structured and unstructured data types
• Solid programming skills in Python, with ideally, some SQL knowledge
• Previous experience in building AI-driven products
• Ability to switch between different fields of AI namely generative AI, classic NLP, and Computer vision for developing solutions to automate information extraction from unstructured complex data structures.
• Ability to effectively communicate the findings and the work to major stakeholders.
• Ability to write efficient and testable code
• Fair understanding of principles in the Software Development Life Cycle
• Good understanding of deep learning and generative AI frameworks in general and specifically in the context of NLP and Computer vision
• Experience with API deployments, CI/CD, and cloud providers is an asset
