Requirements
  • A master's degree or higher in the subject matter or a closely related field.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Teach assigned courses in accordance with approved course descriptions, class schedules, and institutional standards.
  • Be available at reasonable times to confer with students outside of class.
  • Maintain accurate student records.
  • Evaluate and assess student learning outcomes.
  • Provide student support, mentoring, and academic advising.
  • Develop curriculum and periodically review and update instructional materials.
Desired Qualifications
  • One or more years of teaching-related college-level courses, equivalent to 24 or more credits.
  • Experience using technology to enhance the learning environment, including Blackboard, online instruction, or other modalities and software.
