Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
- At least 12 months of Registered Nurse experience in an acute-care or long-term-care setting.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification is required within six months of hire.
- Availability to be scheduled for a minimum of 1,152 hours per calendar year.
- Availability to work a minimum of 12 shifts, or 144 hours, per six-week schedule.
- Availability to work weekend shifts.
- Availability to work two holidays per year.
Responsibilities
- Use the nursing process to provide nursing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with interdisciplinary personnel.
- Use organizational resources to advocate for patients and deliver safe care, including delegating care and participating in performance and practice improvement.
- Ensure actions and communications reflect the organization’s mission, vision, values, and policies when interacting with patients, families, and coworkers.
