Requirements
  • Provide administrative support to immigration officials, including immigration case processing, peripheral activities, records management, and document preparation.
  • Prepare, review, and manage case files for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain accurate and complete Alien Files and ICE system case statuses.
  • Enter data into ICE systems in accordance with agency protocols and data integrity requirements.
  • Maintain electronic and paper case files in compliance with federal privacy laws, DHS policies, and federal data security requirements.
  • Retrieve, compile, and organize county, state, and federal court records, conviction documents, and supporting case materials from multiple databases and government sources.
  • Maintain case status records, court scheduling details, and case tracking logs.
  • Generate case status reports and monitoring dashboards.
  • Assist with docket coordination with the Executive Office for Immigration Review and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and coordinate hearings, removals, and case updates.
  • Review paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
  • Review administrative applications, update Alien Files, and notify docket officers for appropriate law enforcement action.
  • Track compliance with release conditions and report violations as applicable.
  • Assist the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor with criminal history checks and supporting documentation before court.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between detainees and ICE officers, consulates, and legal representatives.
  • Organize removal documents and coordinate removal scheduling and flight staging.
  • Ensure removal documentation is complete and accurate and that required documents are present in Alien Files.
  • Complete travel information, ICE Air scheduling and manifests, detention center release forms, and property inventories and receipts for departures.
  • Ensure detainees have required legal paperwork, a seven-day medication supply, property, and valuables before transfer or removal.
  • Collect, review, and file signed Form I-205 departure verifications in Alien Files.
  • Close cases in ICE data systems and transfer files to the National Records Center.
  • Use translators or advanced translation software to communicate with detainees in their native language.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support to ICE personnel and surge support after hours as required.
  • Be a U.S. citizen and have resided in the United States for the last five years.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Have at least three years of experience in immigration case-management support or related case-management experience.
  • Pass criminal background, consumer credit, pre-employment, and random drug checks.
  • Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance.
  • Work on-site and travel 25% of the time.
  • Demonstrate strong English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
  • Compose complex, detailed, and comprehensive reports from multiple sources within strict time frames and with complete accuracy.
  • Navigate multiple systems and databases to extract information and maintain accurate case statuses.
  • Analyze data and unique situations and make recommendations to ICE personnel.
  • Interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams and diverse populations, including people from different cultures, values, and lifestyles.
  • Build trust with vulnerable or stressed individuals and maintain empathy and compassion in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adhere to DHS and ICE policies, procedures, directives, and standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, reliability, attention to detail, poise, and self-control during emergencies and stressful situations.

  • Track release-condition compliance and report violations.
  • Prepare removal documentation, travel information, flight manifests, release forms, property inventories, and departure verifications.
  • Ensure detainees receive required legal paperwork, medications, property, and valuables before transfer or removal.
  • Close completed cases and transfer files for storage.
  • Provide logistical, administrative, translation, and after-hours surge support as assigned.
