The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles and procedures and experience with NetSuite ERP. This role will also be a key contributor to the month-end close process through reconciliations, flux analysis, and financial reporting.
The ability to understand business needs and proactively communicate is fundamental to success in this position. This role will best suit individuals who can work both independently and collaboratively showing ownership of all tasks and projects. Principle duties & responsibilities
·Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
· Reconcile general ledger accounts
·Manage the accounting workflow, including entering transactions, preparing reports, and resolving discrepancies
·Assist with audits and other financial reviews
·Participate in and/or lead the implementation of process enhancements and new technology
·Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports on financial and operational performance
·Provide mentoring and support to accounting team colleagues
Qualifications
·3+ years minimum of experience in general ledger accounting
·Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field
· Experience withNetSuite ERP
·High attention to detail and accuracy
·Demonstrates an ability/desire to improve processes
·East Coast highly preferred
·SaaS is highly preferred
