About the job
- A valid Commercial Driver’s License Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or a Commercial Driver’s License Class A.
- One year of Commercial Driver’s License Class B driving experience or two years of Commercial Driver’s License Class A driving experience.
- A current Department of Transportation medical card.
- A clean driving record.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Heavy lifting experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment Department of Transportation drug screen.
- Ability to continually lift 50–100 pounds throughout the day, with some lifting over 100 pounds required.
- Ability to secure and distribute truck loads according to Department of Transportation regulations.
- Safely deliver products to job sites and physically unload materials according to customer requests.
- Receive materials in the warehouse, load trucks, and process inventory.
- Deliver materials, including unloading shingles at one- and two-story homes.
- Load trucks with materials scheduled for the day’s deliveries.
- Unload trucks and receive merchandise at the warehouse.
- Move materials and items from receiving to their designated areas.
- Flatbed, moffett, and knuckleboom operating experience.
- Crane and laddervator experience.
