Requirements
  • At least one year of MIG welding experience is preferred.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work the available second or weekend shift schedule.
Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG welding on mild steel ranging from 20-gauge to 1-inch thickness.
  • Produce accurate and durable components according to detailed work instructions and specifications.
  • Interpret welding symbols and blueprints for accurate setups and welds.
  • Use metal finishing tools, including grinders and abrasives.
  • Operate lifting devices such as cranes, positioners, magnets, and hooks while following safety protocols.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and a steady hand.
  • Interest in pursuing relevant certifications such as D1.1 GMAW and D1.3 GMAW.
