Requirements
  • 3+ years of overall development experience with at least 3 years of experience in Java/J2EE technology
  • Strong object-oriented design skills and programming experience
  • Solid understanding of Java/J2EE
  • Experience developing object-orientated applications in Java
  • Experience with web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, JSON, XML, XSD, XSLT, etc.
  • Experience using one or more of the following frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, Struts, JSF
  • Experience with web application servers (Tomcat/WebSphere/WebLogic)
  • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and both SOAP and REST
Responsibilities
  • Create technical specification documents based on the business requirements
  • Develop code that meets the client\'s coding standards and guidelines
  • Work in Agile or Waterfall development environment and should be able to respond to changes quickly
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to application development teams throughout all the phases of the SDLC
  • Ensure that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements
  • Support QA testing and User Acceptance Testing
  • Work with the QA/user team to address the defects logged on the integrated code
  • Perform other duties as assigned
