  • Approximately five or more years of corporate sales experience.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic large-scale priority vertical markets requiring specialized knowledge and technical proposal capabilities.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, construction plans, investment policies, customer needs, technical requirements, performance requirements, and market-specific challenges, and reflect findings in proposal strategies.
  • Collect early information on domestic opportunities in collaboration with domestic and international owners, operating companies, and global companies.
  • Set and advance medium- and long-term strategies, priority customers, and priority projects for target vertical markets.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with major general contractors, large design firms, major developers, large corporations, and global companies.
  • Develop ongoing networks with key account decision-makers, headquarters, design departments, technical departments, and related teams; analyze customer decision-making structures, organizational developments, business strategies, investment plans, and business potential.
  • Plan and implement customer-satisfaction initiatives and build long-term partnerships.
  • Create business opportunities through collaboration with domestic and international Sika organizations and global key accounts.
  • Conduct specification-sales proposals and design spec-in activities for Sika construction products and systems.
  • Develop solutions based on customer and market technical requirements; prepare competitive comparison materials and specification proposals; and deliver presentations.
  • Promote the adoption of Sika products into customer-specific and standard specifications, design documents, and design guidelines.
  • Provide technical support using technical documents, validation, test data, and samples.
  • Coordinate with TM and TS on product and method validation, construction guidance, and technical issues.
  • Collect construction project information early, select key projects, and develop them into opportunities.
  • Track project stages from planning through basic design, detailed design, and construction, and develop strategies appropriate to each stage.
  • Secure specifications for priority projects, manage progress, and coordinate with internal departments.
  • Coordinate with technical, quality, and sales departments when issues arise.
  • Increase current-year on-top contribution sales from key projects with completed spec-in and achieve plans.
  • Collaborate with GTM-Construction Sales, GTM-Civil Sales, GTM-Concrete, Construction Marketing, TM, TS, I&S, and A&I.
  • Work with sales and account teams to extend specifications to design firms, general contractors, and related customers.
  • Enter, update, manage, and share customer and project information in Salesforce CRM.
  • Develop and implement strategies, processes, and tools to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Promote cross-selling across departments and expand adoption opportunities for Sika solutions.

Sika appoints Till Leisner as communications and IR chief. Sika has appointed Till Leisner as its new head of corporate communications and investor relations. He will take up the position on November 1, 2026, and succeeds Dominik Slappnig, who is stepping down after 16 years at the construction chemicals and adhesives manufacturer. October 12, 2026 09:08 Leisner will be based at the headquarters in Baar and report directly to CEO Thomas Hasler, Sika announced on Monday after the close of trading. He has almost 20 years of experience in investor relations, corporate communications and finance. Most recently, he worked at DKSH as head of investor and media relations as well as sustainability. The departing Slappnig has been with Sika since 2010 and, according to CEO Hasler, has significantly helped shape the company's brand and reputation.
