About the job
- An MBO diploma in logistics or a comparable field, with at least five years of production-planning experience, or an HBO diploma in logistics or a comparable field.
- Good spoken and written command of Dutch and English.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
- Knowledge and experience with ERP systems; Norit uses JD Edwards.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and production-management theory.
- A quality-focused, customer-focused, and independent approach.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to organize and plan.
- Develop and execute a production plan with the local production department to ensure sufficient capacity in the short and medium term.
- Maintain optimal inventory and call off packaging, raw materials, and production aids.
- Coordinate bulk planning and short-term inventory planning with sales, transport, and external parties.
- Perform work preparation and prepare production orders for chemical after-treatment.
- Contribute to supply-chain improvement initiatives focused on optimizing short- and long-term planning.
- Work with fellow planners and logistics colleagues to follow up on sales orders processed through the Zaandam site.
- Motivation to continuously improve oneself and processes.
