Casana provides in-home health monitoring through the Heart Seat, a smart toilet seat that records health data when users sit on it. This data is securely uploaded to the Cloud via WiFi, using clinical algorithms for analysis and a bio-identification algorithm to protect user privacy. Unlike traditional health monitoring methods, the Heart Seat allows for continuous tracking of health metrics, particularly benefiting those with chronic conditions like hypertension. Casana's goal is to reduce healthcare costs by enabling early detection of health issues and minimizing the need for in-person doctor visits.
