Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, with the ability to interact with and influence individuals at all levels within the organization.
  • The ability to define problems, collect data, articulate insights compellingly, and drive recommendations to conclusion is required.
  • Knowledge of finance, financial methods, tools, and strategies is required.
  • Knowledge of the methods, processes, and tools for maintaining the organization's books and preparing financial statements and reports is required.
  • The ability to collaborate across various business functions as a team player and business partner is required.
Responsibilities
  • Compile and analyze financial information for the organization.
  • Develop integrated revenue and expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.
  • Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring that financial information is recorded accurately.
  • Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to management.
  • Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze reports and data, monitor accuracy and completeness, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare the annual budget and forecasts and conduct account reconciliations.
  • Maintain and review records and data to ensure compliance with corporate policies, generally accepted accounting principles, and local, state, and federal law.
  • Perform month-end closing transactions, including preparation of key reports.
  • Provide requested financial information to key stakeholders.
  • Develop product cost models to support management decision-making.
  • Create tools, models, and analyses that measure key performance indicators and report to key stakeholders.
  • Complete supplier audits to ensure compliance with corporate requirements.
  • Implement proper internal controls to contain costs and increase efficiencies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for finance processes and information flow.
  • Direct staffing, training, and performance management, working closely with direct reports, to develop and improve the accounting function if applicable.
  • Work primarily in an office environment and travel occasionally.
