About the Job

Requirements

  • At least 12 years of experience driving growth, enrollment, acquisition, revenue, or business operations outcomes, with a track record of personally owning and hitting a number; experience in healthcare, benefits, marketplaces, consumer subscription, or another environment with a complex funnel and multiple stakeholders is preferred.
  • Experience building and leading multi-team or multi-function organizations, hiring and developing leaders, and delivering results through a team.
  • Ability to build and interrogate a funnel model, size opportunities, design experiments, and optimize using quantitative data.
  • Ability to set direction for several distinct teams, including growth, operations, strategy, and enablement, sequence priorities, and advance new approaches.
  • Experience owning the tooling, processes, and systems that service or operations teams depend on, and scaling them ahead of demand.
  • AI fluency, with a point of view on where AI creates business leverage and the discipline to measure its impact.
  • Ability to align and mobilize cross-functional teams around a shared goal without direct authority over most of them, and hold teams accountable to operational commitments.
  • Understanding of how enrollment translates into revenue and unit economics, and ability to partner with Finance on targets and forecasting.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment with high visibility and direct accountability for a top-line company metric.
  • Active work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Own member growth for the Core Business, including enrollment targets and the revenue those enrollments drive; set the strategy, build the plan, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver results quarter over quarter.
  • Build and run a scalable enrollment engine spanning client launches, member acquisition and messaging, the enrollment product experience, and re-engagement of eligible-but-not-enrolled members.
  • Lead the AI enablement function by introducing new ways of working with AI, building an adoption playbook, measuring usage and impact team by team, and optimizing the value of AI in daily work.
  • Lead the central operations team and ensure the systems, tooling, and processes used by member operations and client operations are effective, scalable, and able to absorb growth.
  • Lead the strategy and operations team, bringing analytical rigor and operating discipline to teams across the organization, with focus on Sales, Client Success, and Payer Growth.
  • Build and iterate on the enrollment funnel, create systems for diagnosing opportunities, establish operational metrics as leading KPIs, and bring quantitative rigor to execution against targets.
  • Partner with Client Success, Marketing, Product, Finance, Data, Clinical, Payer, Sales, and Operations, and hold each team accountable to its operational KPIs in the enrollment process.
  • Partner with Data and Finance to build measurement, segmentation, attribution, and forecasting that identify performance and forecast enrollment and revenue.
  • Build, lead, and develop a multi-function organization, including leaders responsible for member growth, central operations, strategy and operations, and AI enablement; set strategy and operating cadence and raise analytical rigor.
  • Ensure the team identifies and opens new avenues for driving enrollments beyond approaches dependent on permission to communicate with a client's employees.
