Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, or a related field is required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
  • Ability to research material via the internet is required.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Team Leader in directing and supervising staff activities.
  • Enforce timely and effective communication.
  • Lead team organizational and service planning meetings in the absence of the Team Leader.
  • Provide direction to staff regarding individual cases.
  • Conduct side-by-side contacts with staff.
  • Conduct individual supervision meetings with the Team Leader.
  • Remain available by cell phone for emergency consultation and crisis intervention.
  • Spend 50% of the time providing direct participant services as a member of the clinical staff.
  • Spend 50% of the time performing administrative and supervisory duties.
  • Ensure that team members cross-train one another so each member can engage participants regarding the team's full range of roles and functions.
  • Ensure staff share responsibilities for recipients and charting.
  • Support staff in all areas of writing service plans.
  • Actively participate in revising service plans as participant needs change.
  • Ensure advocacy for participants' rights and preferences.
  • Take responsibility for ACT service recipients and service charting.
  • Advocate for participants' rights and preferences whenever possible.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor or division head.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensure or registration as a registered nurse.
  • Professional experience working in a multidisciplinary mobile team.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish ability.
