Requirements
- Provide a strong editing portfolio or reel and shot footage demonstrating solid camera work.
- Have strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of sound design.
- Have strong AI literacy and comfort using Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Higgsfield across editing, ideation, and day-to-day production or communication tasks.
- Communicate clearly in English, written and spoken, about all matters related to the scope of the work.
- Create cinematic, emotionally driven cuts, not only fast-paced trend edits.
- Work in-office daily and iterate on cuts in real time alongside the team.
- Maintain organized and disciplined file and archive management.
- Operate professional camera systems, including Sony mirrorless and Cinema Line, and lenses, with a solid grasp of exposure, framing, and camera movement.
- Have working knowledge of lighting and clean audio capture for on-location shoots.
- Use standard production tools and platforms, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Google Meet, and Trello.
- Work in physically demanding conditions when required, such as aboard boats or in the desert.
- Manage multiple projects under deadline.
- Have at least 5 years of professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Edit and finish video content across maritime, automotive, desert experiences, events, brand commercial, and luxury lifestyle productions, covering structure, pacing, and color.
- Build pacing, emotional storytelling, transitions, and visually engaging compositions consistent with BENO's cinematic approach.
- Apply social-media-native editing, staying current with platform-specific trends, techniques, and specifications for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Shoot video on location as a videographer or second camera across productions, following the creative brief and capturing footage with the edit in mind.
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage and social pickups on larger productions when needed.
- Color correct in DaVinci Resolve and handle sound design.
- Deliver multiple formats optimized for Reels, TikTok, YouTube, paid ads, and other platform specifications.
- Turn around same-day and time-sensitive edits for events, social, and brand needs.
- Manage footage ingest, organization, and backup through the department's on-site NAS system.
- Maintain a consistent file-naming and archive structure across the production library.
- Coordinate handoffs with the remote editor on overflow or lower-priority projects.
- Communicate clearly about timelines and flag delays early.
- Work outside standard hours or on weekends when a production requires it.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience editing and shooting luxury lifestyle, automotive, maritime, brand promotional, or documentary-style content.
- Understanding of Dubai's visual identity and storytelling style.
- Familiarity with NAS-based or local media workflows.
- Motion graphics or simple animation skills using After Effects.
- Dubai experience.
