ACCOUNTANT - Quality Assurance (4+ years of accounting experience)

Our client is in search of an Accountant to join their Wholesale Quality Assurance (QA) testing team. You will contribute to the Company’s efforts in developing, implementing and maintaining a QA program around regulatory reporting. Their QA program assists management in assessing and enhancing the control environment around regulatory reporting production. AS the QA Testing Lead, you will be responsible for the execution of day-to-day testing of products that relate to the lending businesses within Wholesale. 

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

4+ years of accounting experience

General understanding of bank regulatory reporting requirements 

Proven experience with relationship building and collaboration with stakeholders spanning multiple levels 

Strong verbal and written communication skills 

Strong attention to detail 

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word 

Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with a geographically dispersed team 

Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities

Demonstrate flexibility and implement change 

Ability to work within ambiguity while delivering results

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

CPA/CIA certification 

2+ years Advisory or audit experience with Big 4 

Experience utilizing data sampling tools (e.g. ACL)

Experience with loan accounting, reporting or operations
