  • The candidate must hold a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
  • The candidate must have a minimum of 3+ years of clinical veterinary nursing experience.
  • The candidate must have previous leadership, mentoring, or senior nursing experience, or be ready to step into a leadership role.
  • The candidate must have strong surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring skills.
  • The candidate must demonstrate organisational and time-management abilities.
  • The candidate must have strong communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and support the veterinary nursing team.
  • Mentor, train, and develop nurses across all experience levels.
  • Build a positive, collaborative team culture.
  • Support veterinarians in consultations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Undertake surgical nursing, pathology, hospital nursing, and team-based consulting.
  • Provide emergency and critical care nursing support when required.
  • Manage stock and inventory to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Support workflow management and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with administrative and reception duties when required.
  • Handle client enquiries professionally in person, by phone, and via email.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs alongside the Practice Manager.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and clinic performance.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with RxWorks is desirable but not essential.
